“I’m sorry. Have you been waiting for me?”

“No way, Jack and Toren have been practising man overboard, Bradley has been driving and lunch is about ready.” Responded Katrina
We sat down for soup and bread, vegetables and hummus which was becoming a tradition but there is something about sitting down and eating together.
Jack brought out his box, explaining about the different materials wood, resin, felt and the meaning behind the motif on the lid, ”reflecting the importance of Scotland through the flag but incorporating the 4 family members on each arm of the cross”.

They both clearly demonstrated why they were “creators”

Back to navigating skills and Jack and Toren were demonstrating their skills whilst passing them onto Bradley.

Suddenly a shout of “Man Overboard!”

Toren put the boat into an emergency stop and Jack quickly grabbed the boathook to pull the casualty on board.

It was only a drill but, “What is the danger from falling into the water?”

Bradley quickly demonstrated his water skills by reflecting that the cold and hypothermia was the killer, Toren said that the engine was a danger to the person in the water and Jack said that it is important to get him below decks and dry and warm.

We got back to the mooring. The weather was closing down with increasing wind and rain – Grahams caution shining through - so it was looking like an early finish…
