Certificate in Community Boat Management

Skipper qualification: enables you to captain a community boat.


About:

The CCBM qualification enables the holder to captain community boats with up to 12 passengers.

The captain:

The captain is in charge of the boat and responsible for the safety the passengers and equipment onboard.


requirements:

  • minimum age: 17

  • some knowledge of handling groups

  • participants must have reached the standard set in the boat handling course before completing their CCBM.

- course run on one of our boats (location below)

- comprised of 7 units, mixture of hands on and theory.

- NCBA qualification in CCBM

- gain knowledge of boat handling, working with groups, navigation and emergency procedures.
