WORKING ALONGSIDE ARTISTS

We have been very fortunate over the years to have had the opportunity to work alongside professional artists and as a consequence have been exposed to an array of creative responses to the canal and its surrounding environment. These responses have been in the form of photography, filmmaking, digital media, design work, artist commissions and music production.

We are currently developing ways in which to invite local artists to produce work within a supportive and collaborative environment which responds creatively to the canal environment and to our ethos of nature and nurture. This will include a supportive programme for Aspiring Artists.

Art forms we are currently exploring include blacksmithing, graffiti art, creative writing, film making, sound design, arts and crafts, design, outdoor projection, photography, digital media (including drone filmmaking) and lots, lots more.

We will keep you up to date as our Artist Programme develops.
